| I have to be honest with you. I have some major concerns about the subhead for this chapter: "Cool Window Tips." My fear is that you might give it a quick glance and accidentally read it as "Cool Windows Tips," which this chapter, in a Mac OS X book, clearly is not. In fact, this couldn't be a chapter on Microsoft Windows, primarily because I don't know Windows. Well, I know where the Start menu is, and I can launch an application (if it's fairly easy to find), but that's as much as I'm willing to admit (at least without a Congressional subpoena). Besides, how could there be anything cool about Windows? So what is this chapter really about? I was hoping you would know. Hmmmm. This is kind of embarrassing. Okay, I'll take a stab at itit sounds like it's probably filled with tips on using Finder windows, managing your files within them, and other cool window tips that will amuse your friends and absolutely captivate small children and family pets (except, of course, for fish, who are waiting patiently for you to overfeed them). |
