KEEPING ORDER BY COLLAPSING EVERYTHING

When you do a search in the Spotlight dialog, each category displays the top five results. You probably already know that if you want to hide the results for a particular category, you just click directly on the category's name. That's handy, but this tip might be even handier, especially when you get results in lots of different categories, making you scroll down pretty far to see them all. Just Option-click on the top category and all the other categories immediately collapse. This is great because you can see all the categories at once, so you can now just click once on the category you want see. A great tip for helping you get right to the results you want fast!
