Is this book for you? Are you kidding? This book is so for you that if you're reading this in a bookstore, and you don't have the money to buy it, you'll shoplift itrisking possible incarceration, just to unlock the secrets its coated pages hold. But you won't have to shoplift it, because if you're reading a Macintosh book, you bought a Macintosh computer, and that probably means you've got lots of money. So buy at least two copies.

Look, although I don't know you personally, I'm willing to bet you love those little sidebar tips just as much as I do. If you didn't, authors would've stopped adding them to their books years ago. But as much as you love those sidebar tips, you still want something more. That's rightyou want visuals. As cool as those sidebar tips are, they're usually just a tiny little box with a couple of lines of text (like the sidebar shown at left). So in this book, I thought I'd expand the explanations just enough to make them more accessible, and then add an accompanying screen capture if (a) it helps make the tip easier to understand, or (b) if the page just looks really boring without them.
