USING THE FILE BROWSER TO OPEN 16-BIT IMAGES

While it may be obvious that you can open 16-bit images from the Open menu, many people don't realize that you can now open Raw images from right within the File Browser. In fact, it treats 16-bit Raw images just like any other imagejust double-click to open it. When you double-click, the File Browser launches the Camera Raw plug-in so you can process your Raw image before it's opened in Photoshop.
