Speed Kills: advanced tips

Speed Kills: advanced tips

Before you attempt any of the tips in this chapter, I have to tell you, you'll need a fairly thorough knowledge of calculus, and it wouldn't hurt if you kept a scientific calculator handy either. In fact, ideally, you'd put together a team with varied backgrounds and skill sets to really get anything out of this chapter. Believe it or not, that's what some people expect from an advanced tips sectiontips that are very complicated and involved. But just because you're a more advanced user doesn't mean the tips should be harder; it just means the tips apply to more advanced areas of Photoshop use, such as Masking, Curves, Paths, and fun stuff like that.

The tips should be easy to do, just covering more advanced topics. But if you really feel you need a complicated and involved tip to get your money's worth, here goes: Open a blank RGB document at 72 ppi. Then take a photograph of your family and tape it to the outside of your monitor. Using the Airbrush tool, choose a large soft-edged brush, and draw what you see. When complete, it should look exactly like the photograph. Happy now?
