This is rather easy but absolutely crucial. It is within the Serviceguard application control script that we mention the name of our application monitoring script. Serviceguard will assume it is there; it makes no attempt to check the runtime validity or the existence of the SERVICE_CMD s themselves . For each package, it's a good idea to put the package configuration files in a separate directory under /etc/cmcluster . In my case, I am going to put my application monitoring script in the same place ”in a directory called /etc/cmcluster/ clockwatch . Okay, that's done. What's next ?
