Taskbar

The Taskbar not only holds the Start menu button, but provides rudimentary control over running applications. See also "Taskbar Notification Area", later in this chapter, and "Task Manager" in Chapter 4.


Taskbar, group buttons by application

(This setting only has meaning with applications, like word processors, that can open more than one document window simultaneously , and are configured to display those windows as separate buttons on the Taskbar.)
