Blending between two or more grouped objects can get ugly. In general, blends work well between simple shapes or shapes that are not that different (such as resized objects). But blends can get scary when you start to blend complex shapes .
Bad blends can happen when you try to blend grouped objects. In general, the results are kind of a mushy mess. For example, in the top set of flowers in Figure 12-14, two grouped flowers were blended, with not-very-pretty results.
A nicer blend results when the flowers in Figure 12-14 are ungrouped and separate blends are assigned to each object within the group .
