8.4 Conclusion

Automation is one of VS.NET's greatest strengths. There is a wide gamut of options for using automation, ranging from recording a simple macro, through developing a custom macro, to building a COM component that loads as an add-in. In the next chapter we will look at another productivity-enhancing way of customizing VS.NETcustom wizards.
