Chapter 3. Basic Editing Techniques

So far, the book has covered a lot of material and you have yet to create an edit. This chapter will cover the basic techniques of editing with Avid Xpress Pro. This is the foundation for the rest of this book. It is imperative that you understand these techniques before continuing further in the book. If you've edited on other nonlinear editing systems, many of theses terms and concepts may be familiar to you.
