There are two methods for saving your work on Avid Xpress Proan explicit save that you trigger and an auto-save, which Avid Xpress Pro triggers.
If the Project window is highlighted when you perform a save, all the bins , project settings, and user settings are saved.
Always try to back up your Avid work on either a floppy disk, Zip disk, or CD.
It's also a good habit to back up graphic folders on the same disk you saved your Avid work.
The Bin Settings dialog box is where you can set the amount of time that is passed before an auto-save is triggered.
A forced auto-save will perform a save regardless of what function you're in the middle of.
Avid's Attic contains back-up versions of projects and bins.
Don't forget to clean out the Attic when you're done with a project.
