Manually Synchronizing Media with a Portable Device

You can take total control over which playlists or files are synchronized with your portable device by specifying them and manually synchronizing them with the device. If you have too many files in your library to fit on the device, you can easily replace the existing files on the device with different files from your library.

Add Items to the Device

On the Sync tab, locate the playlist or the file you want to add.

Drag it onto the Sync List pane. Repeat for other playlists or files.

When all the playlists and files have been added, click Start Sync.

Add Random Items to the Device

If there are unwanted items in the Sync List, click Sync List, and choose Clear List from the drop-down menu.

Click Shuffle Music, and wait for the files on the device to be deleted and different files transferred.
