This chapter introduced us to the platform components of the OGSA architecture and their relationships. In addition, we identified some of the core services that should be presented for consideration. The next chapter will introduce us to the base infrastructure components of the OGSA, entitled the Open Grid Service Infrastructure (OGSI). This OGSI discussion is one of detail, covering all aspects of the specification and its relationship with other core technologies.
