One of the modules built into PHP-Nuke is "Submit News," which allows users to submit articles for your approval. Once approved, these articles begin appearing on your site (or you can schedule them to appear on a specific date). PHP-Nuke always displays a reminder of how many submissions are waiting for your approval, but you can also have it e-mail you a quick note when new submissions are received. This feature is off by default; if you turn it on, you'll need to specify the e-mail address that should receive the messages, the e-mail subject and body, and the account that will be listed as the From e-mail address on the e-mail. Here's a tip: Set that From account to something unique. That way, you can set up e-mail filters in your e-mail software to look for mail coming from that address and highlight it, or at least make sure the message isn't discarded as spam. |
