Some third-party modules also allow users to submit data; these modules may provide their own Waiting Content blocks or some similar functionality. Some of them will even modify the Waiting Content block, but you should be wary of those. Unlike other blocks, Waiting Content is produced by the mainfile.php file, a file which contains many of PHP-Nuke's critical functions. Most third-party modules that want to update the Waiting Content block won't give you an all-new mainfile.php (that would be a bad idea, since it's such a critical file). Instead, they'll give you instructions for manually modifying mainfile.php and pasting their code into the appropriate place. If you're not comfortable doing so, then don't; most modules will work fine, but you might have to remember to manually check them for new submissions from time to time. |
