Chapter 46. Administering Users, Admins, and Groups

Users, administrators (admins), and groups represent important components of your Web site. Users, of course, are registered (or subscribed) individuals who access your site using their username and password. Adminswhich PHP-Nuke sometimes refers to as authorshave administrative control over all or a portion of your Web site. Groups is a relatively new feature in PHP-Nuke, one that can be used to reward active members of your site.

Please note that I highly recommend the use of the NSN Your Account module, which I describe in Topic 32, "Adding the NSN Your Account Tweak," because it vastly improves your user management options. NSN also offers NSN Groups, which enhances the group functionality in PHP-Nuke (which I describe in this topic).
