PowerShell Requirements

PowerShell is designed to run on all recent versions of Windows including those based on x64 processors. The only prerequisite for installing PowerShell is that you must first install v2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework. Note that PowerShell will preinstall in certain situations. For example, PowerShell is part of the Exchange Server 2007 administrative tools.
