Configuring Groove

The first time you launch Microsoft Office Groove 2007, the Account Configuration Wizard appears, asking you to create a new Groove account or use an existing one already created on another computer. During the wizard process, you'll enter your Groove Account Configuration Codefor network purposes onlyand Groove Account Information, including name, e-mail address, and password. If you want your Groove account to be listed in a Public Groove Directory, you can also select that option during the wizard process.

Start, Configure, and Exit Groove

For the first time, click the Start button, point to All Programs, click Microsoft Office, and then click Microsoft Office Groove 2007.

Click the Create a new Groove account option.

Click Next.

Click the Account Configuration Code option you want, and then click Next.

Enter account information, including name, e-mail address, and password.

Click Next.

Click an option to list your account in the Public Groove Directory, either No Listing (default), Name Only, and All Contact Information.

Click Finish.

Click Yes or No to watch a movie about Groove.

To exit Groove, click the Close button on the title bar.

Did You Know?

You can use your account on another computer. Click the Options menu, click Invite My Other Computers, click OK, and then copy the account file for use on another computer.
