As with the over-50s, you need a dedicated plan to manage diversity. In the future we are going to need to manage a much more diverse workforce if we expect our businesses to grow. Some firms are very good at this: The Savoy hotel in London (with its business only in the UK) has 42 nationalities on its staff - a really eclectic mix. Others are not nearly so adventurous, but need to be to avoid starving themselves of talented individuals who might just want to spend some time in their business.
Get a diversity plan in place (to cover top management too!).
