To enhance the appearance of the text in a table, you can format it using the buttons on the Formatting toolbar, just as you would when formatting any text in a Word document. You can also format the structure of the table by adding borders and shading. Borders and Shading can help the table in your document come alive for your readers. You can quickly add a border using the one of the built-in layouts and adding your line style, color , and width preferences.
