Windows XP gives you several ways to view pictures in a folder. In a picture folder, you can use Filmstrip view to see a larger view of the pictures in a full screen slide show. Filmstrip is a special view available only for folders with pictures. Filmstrip view also includes buttons to make it easy to switch between pictures. If you have a mixture of documents and pictures in a folder or if you receive faxes sent directly to your computer, the best way to view the pictures is to open them in the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, which is a simple graphics program that comes with Windows XP that allows you to quickly view and annotate select pictures. You can also open the picture in Paint or another editing program to make changes. View a Picture -
