Linking to an Object in a Database

You can create hyperlinks that target forms, tables, and reports within the current database. You can also link to objects in other databases by specifying the database's file name and selecting the form, table, or report you want to target. You will have immediate access to those objects by clicking the hyperlink you insert.

Link to a Database Object in the Database

Within a Hyperlink field or while editing a form or report in Design view, click the Insert Hyperlink button on the Design toolbar.

Click Object In This Database on the Link To bar.

Enter the hyperlink text.

Select the database object.

Click OK.

Click Existing File Or Web Page on the Link To bar.

Enter the database file name or click Browse to locate and select a database file name.

Click Bookmark.

Select the database object.
