Final Thoughts

In this project you've picked up some intermediate typographic skills and had an opportunity to consider and capture additional important data for your marketing efforts.

Important concepts to keep in mind include

• Tabs are the only convention you should use for the accurate positioning of stops on a line.

• Tables offer another form option, and InDesign CS2 offers many great features for controlling the format of tables.

• Leaders play a key role in formatting forms. Being able to manage and control them is critical to creating forms.

• Plan for the distribution of your form, not only in print but electronically as well, by making sure you have plenty of space to add form fields later.
