people get together to wardrive every day. this is organized wardriving in its most pure form. the worldwide wardrive is, however, the only event that allows wardrivers to organize a wardrive to cover entire areas and then commingle their data with that of other wardrivers around the world to provide an analysis of wireless networks worldwide.
