Additional Resources

The NetStumbler Web site, www.netstumbler.com, and the NetStumbler Forums, forums.nestumber.com, are great places to exchange information with other people who use NetStumbler and MiniStumbler. Sometimes Marius Milner, the author of NetStumbler and MiniStumbler, even shows up to let everyone know the latest information on the two applications. You should definitely consider looking around, and join in. One word of caution: the forums tend to be long on information, and short on newcomer’s feelings. If you want to participate in the Forums, please read the FAQs and use the built-in forum Search function before asking questions. Few threads attract flames faster then a “newbie” who hasn’t searched and asks a common question.

Marius Milner also maintains his own Web site: www.stumbler.net. There you can find out about things such as the newest versions of NetStumbler.

Several other resources on the Web include:

  • NetStumbler listserv: www.michiganwireless.org/lists.html

  • NetStumbler listserv archive: www.michiganwireless.org/archive/maillist.html

  • National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA): www.nmea.org/

  • Bluetooth Special Interest Group: www.bluetooth.com
