Regardless of your role in Team System, you'll want to access the Project Portal and view any relevant queries and reports. The portal is also ideal for storage of documents, announcements, discussions, and archived communication between members. With Windows SharePoint Services (WSS), Microsoft allows wide reach via the browser. WSS security allows the administrator to lock down certain lists and certain reports by group or user so that only an authorized user can see the administrator's reports.

NOTE
Other than the read-only project portal, Microsoft is not providing a Web-based interface for Team System. Although you can upload and edit documents, you can't add or manage work items or make changes to a team project. I suspect that an ISV will extend Team System to provide this functionality because it would close the loop nicely on working remotely.
