This chapter reminds us of just how complicated our jobs and responsibilities can be. It seems that the faster and more capable computer hardware and software become, the more complicated it is to build intelligent systems that sit on top. Is it that we now have a broader range of software design options that makes things more complicated? Or is it that we are suffering from the same old problems that we always have?
