Chapter 3. Using Slides to Build a Movie

The raw material of a Captivate movie is the slide. A movie is nothing more than a series of individual slides that play sequentially, at a rate of about one slide every two seconds. In Captivate, a slide can be anything from a static screen shot to one containing fully animated mouse movement with sounds and captions.

Practically everything you do in this application involves working at the slide level. In fact, the main interfacesthe Storyboard View and Edit View panelsare devoted to working with the content of individual slides in your movie.
