Using the Captivate Movie Preferences

Captivate's movie preferences are a bit different from those of many Windows applications you may use. In Captivate, the preferences are applied only to the currently opened movie, not the application. For example, suppose you decide to change the background of all of the slides in your movie from white to black. You do this by selecting Movie > Preferences and selecting Black in the Movie background area (Figure 1.8). In a lot of applications, this will result in all slides created having a black background. Yet in Captivate, that black background is applied only to the currently open movie. You can also make a stop at the Preferences dialog box before you publish the movie. With the Publish dialog box open, click the Preferences button to launch the Preferences dialog box.
