Double-click the home icon on your desktop.

A2:

Open a file manager window and then use the right button on your pointing device to drag the file's icon to your desktop. When you release the button and the context menu appears, choose Copy Here to copy the file.

A3:

Right-click inside the file manager window. Choose Create Folder from the context menu that appears.

A4:

Double-click on the file's icon or select the first Open option from the file's context (right-click) menu.

Activities

  1. Spend some time navigating your file system using the file manager, location bar, and directory icons.

  2. Insert a CD-ROM and double-click the CD-ROM icon that appears on your desktop. Spend some time browsing the contents of the CD-ROM using the file manager.
