To read a manual page in the help browser, click Man Pages in its main category list, select a section in the page that follows, and then click the link to the manual page you want to view.

You should always include the name of the application, the version of the application, the specific problem you encountered, a list of other applications that were running at the time, and a detailed description of the context in which the problem occurredwhat you did to cause the problem, what you were trying to accomplish, and so on.

Read some of the introductory material about the Fedora Core 4 desktop environment from the User Guide.
Try launching a few applications in the desktop of your choice and browsing the related manual or handbook.
Read the man pages for the commands you remember from Chapters 6, "Working with Files in the Shell," and 7, "Understanding File Properties."
