Q&A

Q1:

I have IM accounts on lots of different services. In the past, I had to run the AIM, MSN, and Yahoo! programs at the same time if I wanted to be logged in to all of them at once. Can GAIM keep me logged in to all of my accounts at the same time?

A1:

Yes. To keep multiple accounts open in GAIM, just add each of the accounts you use in the Accounts dialog box; then check the Online box next to each account.

To open the Accounts dialog box while you're already using GAIM, right-click on the GAIM icon at the upper right of the desktop menubar; then select Accounts from the context menu that appears.

Q2:

Is there any way to browse windows workgroups or domains, similar to what happens when I double-click Network Neighborhood or My Network Places on a Windows host?

A2:

Yes. Choose Places, Network Servers to browse the entire Windows network for hosts.
