When using Final Cut Pro on your SAN, it is important to make sure your user's home directory remains on the local client machine. This is not a problem with local authentication. When using a centralized directory however, you will have the option of placing the user's home directory on the SAN volume. This is not recommended for Final Cut Pro. To resolve this, use Workgroup Manager to create a Home folder for a centralized user on a local volume. The following is an example of how you would set it up for the user Albert. |
