Chapter 13: Applying Filters

Overview

What's the big draw of most movies we go to today? It's the special effects. Within Photoshop CS, there are dozens of different special effects, called filters, that you can apply to your images. Filters can be used to correct problems with images or just to add artistic flare. Photoshop CS adds a new Filter Gallery that makes applying filters even easier. The goal of this chapter is to have you:

• Apply a filter when you need it

• Adjust the filter
