Chapter 12. Audio Editing

Editing audio files is distinctly different from editing MIDI files. Unlike MIDI files, whose data is displayed as notes, audio files are presented in waves. Digital Performer provides you with a variety of tools to edit these waves, including the Waveform Editor, Sequence Editor, and Soundbites window. With these editors, you can cut, copy, and move information; add and manipulate soundbites; correct sound problems; and manage your audio information. In this chapter, you will learn how to:
