In this chapter, we covered a few management packs, detailing configurations that are required and discussing scripts that contain parameters to be modified and available tasks. Specifically, the following management packs were covered:
Windows Servers Base Operating System management pack
DNS management pack
Active Directory management pack
IIS management pack
Microsoft Server Clusters management pack
Many of the concepts from one management pack carry over into other management packs. Because MPs are generally composed of the same type of components, it becomes second nature to dissect a management pack and figure out everything that it does.
In the next chapter, we look into additional management packs.
