Master the Inner Game

Taking an exam is stressful, but so is standing in front of a customer or your manager to explain why something that sounds neat to them is not a good idea in practice (or, as Yogi Berra supposedly said, "In theory, there's no difference between theory and practice; in practice, there is."). The confidence you have in yourself, in your knowledge, and in your ability to apply that knowledge will make the differencein the exam and on the job.

By the time you do either, you will have read the SAFE documents (at least the SAFE SMR Blueprint, but I strongly recommend reading the Enterprise and VPN Blueprints, too, at least for perspective). You will have gone through this book, and hopefully you will have created your own study guide. You will have gone over this material, in somewhat different words, three times. If you have concentrated on understanding the why as well as the what on product placement and mitigating network security threats, you will be ready.

Believe in that, and you improve your chances . You have succeeded in learning the material; you will succeed in applying it.
