Perhaps the most professional of the Google information sites, gooGuide is timely, decently written, and dedicated to keeping its ear on the ground. Rumors are explored, but sensationalism is avoided.

At the heart of gooGuide (see Figure 18-5) lies the Google Gazette, a weekly electronic newsletter posted to the site and distributed through e-mail. No site registration is necessary. The Google Gazette contains site optimization tips and articles about whatever is currently transpiring in the Google universe. Helpfully, gooGuide also carries links to articles about Google from far and wide.
