The script used for all tests runs the client's robot simulator and asks it to log in, add and remove users from the buddy list, and send instant messages. Table 10-1 summarizes the number of operations performed by a simulated user in one hour. Overall, the effect of this script is to create a well-loaded system where all online users are active.

The simulated robots are logged on to Sametime at a rate of 25 users per second per Sametime server. This simulates a reasonable rate of log ins in an environment where users are authenticated against some directory.
