To import or export a text file


1.

Within FileMaker, choose Edit > Spelling > Edit User Dictionary (Figure 6.12).

When the dictionary's dialog box appears, click Import or Export when the buttons appear (Figure 6.14). (Click Export if you want to use a FileMaker dictionary in another application.)

Navigate to the file you want to import (a Microsoft Word dictionary in our example). Once you find it, click Import (top, Figure 6.15). When the alert dialog box appears, confirming that the import or export is finished, click OK to close the dialog box (bottom, Figure 6.15).

The file's words will be added to your user dictionary (Figure 6.16). Click OK to close the dictionary dialog box.
