Suppose in the previous steps, you accidentally connected the wrong fields. Editing the relationship is easy, so you can change the relationship any time.
To change or edit relationships
1.
If necessary, reopen the Define Database dialog box by choosing File > Define > Database ( in Windows, on the Mac).
2.
When the Define Relationships dialog box appears, the Relationships tab is selected automatically (assuming you used the same tab when you last opened the dialog box). Click the Edit table button () or double-click the box astride the line connecting the two fields (Figure 10.13).

3.
When the Edit Relationship dialog box appears, you can select a new field on the left or right, as well as the = drop-down menu between the lists to change the mathematical operator (Figure 10.14). When you're done, click OK to close the dialog box and apply the change.

Tips
The Duplicate and Delete choices within the Edit Relationship dialog box work similarly to duplicating or deleting fields or records: Duplicate a relationship to save time in creating a variation of an existing relationship; delete relationships you no longer need.
For details on the options at the bottom of the dialog box, see Table 10.2, Edit Relationship Options.
