Routing IPX Lab Objectives

   

In Chapter 13, each lab router was configured with an assigned IPX network address. To ensure IPX connectivity between all IPX routers, configure IPX routing by accomplishing the following lab objectives:

  • Use EIGRP as the routing protocol for the interfaces in the Frame Relay cloud and R4's Ethernet 0.

  • Use IPX RIP for all other router interfaces that are not configured for IPX EIGRP.

  • Redistribute IPX EIGRP and IPX RIP to ensure that all IPX networks are reachable by all IPX routers. Use the IPX ping command to verify full connectivity from each router to all IPX networks.

You will be configuring the routers shown in Figure 14-1. In addition, after you complete these lab objectives, the IPX routing domains should appear as detailed in Figure 14-1.
