Then, What's XHTML?XHTML, an acronym for eXtensible Hypertext Markup Language, is the first big change to HTML in years. With it, the W3C is trying to add the structure and extensibility of XML to HTML pages. By adding a few simple structural elements to existing HTML pages, you can be assured that your Web pages are compatible with later versions of HTML, and even with XML.
