You can print movies directly from the Flash Player 6 in two ways: either by using the Flash Player context menu and the Print command, or by using the ActionScript Print action. By using the Print action, you can print frames in any timeline of any movie clip or loaded movie level; you can also specify a certain print area. NOTE Flash Player versions earlier than 4 do not support direct printing from frames. To designate a frame for printing, you must label the frame . #p . Frame labels are added through the Properties Inspector. To add a label, simply select the frame you wish to label. Once selected, type the label name within the Frame Label option within the Properties Inspector. By default, the Flash MX movie's stage is what determines the print area. To specify a certain print area, create a shape on the stage the size of the newly desired print area. Make sure you do this in an empty frame. A good rule of thumb is to select the frame after the frame labeled #p . Label this new frame #b . NOTE You can add only one #b label per timeline, but you can add multiple #p labels to a timeline.
