Configuring JDBC Connectivity

In order to access the screens necessary for configuring Java Database Connectivity, follow the steps below:

1. Access the Administration console.

2. In the left pane, expand the Services node. Under that, expand the JDBC icon.

3. Click on the icon associated with the service you wish to manage. Your choices are Connection Pools, MultiPools, Data Source, or Tx Data Source.

4. Configure the service as necessary. When you are done, click "Apply." If you need to restart the server in order for your changes to take effect, you will be see a Restart Server icon next to the field you just changed.
