Once a WebLogic server has been configured to run as a Windows service, you have the option of using the Services Control Panel to stop and start the server as well as set other startup options.
Within Windows, select Start Settings Control Panel.
For Windows 2000 operating systems, double-click the Administrative Tools Control Panel. Then open the Services Control Panel. On Windows NT, you can open the Services Control Panel directly from the Control Panel window.
Once in the Services Control Panel, find the service. The default name begins with beasvc, but it could be anything you chose to name it.
In Windows 2000, you can change the startup properties by right-clicking on the service name and clicking "Properties" in the pop-up list, then modifying the properties as you see fit. For Windows NT, your only option is to make the services Automatic, Manual, or Disabled.
