Saving the Song

You have spent hours tweaking and adjusting all the devices that make up your song, as well as capturing and editing the perfect performance. You would hate to see it lost. Before you shut down Reason for the night you'll need to save you work, so it will be there when you return to it the next day.

To save your song:

NOTE

If you are continuing to work on a song that you saved previously, you need only click on Save from the File menu. The changes in the song will be written to the song's file.

NOTE

While working on a song that has already been saved, it is a good idea to save your work every 10 minutes or so, in case of a computer crash or a loss of power. This way, once you get Reason back up and running, you should have most of your work saved.
