ReWire was originally created by Propellerhead Software several years ago to enable users of Steinberg's Cubase VST and Propellerhead's ReBirth to run the audio output of ReBirth directly into the mixer of Cubase VST by creating a virtual audio connection between the two applications. Since then, several audio applications have adopted ReWire support, including Reason. With ReWire you can run the audio output from Reason devices directly into another audio program such as Cubase SX, Sonar, or Digital Performer.
