Controlling the Transport

Next you'll learn how to use your MIDI controller to control Reason's transport. Unlike the reverb example above, you cannot simply right-click on the transport buttons to teach Reason which commands will control them; you must first put the remote control into Edit mode.

Once the remote is in Edit mode, little green arrows appear, pointing to every parameter that can be controlled remotely.

NOTE

To take Reason out of Edit MIDI Remote Mapping, follow Steps 1-2; this will uncheck Edit mode and disable it.
