Device Automation

As you have discovered in earlier chapters, each device in Reason has plenty of knobs that can control a large number of parameters. With the sequencer, you can record the movements of these parameters throughout the song; this is known as automation.

To record automation from a device:

NOTE

When you've stopped recording automation, the parameters of the device you automated will have green boxes around them, indicating that automation has been recorded for them.
